Our community garage sales are a highlight of the season, offering a fantastic opportunity for our participants to engage directly with our Clifton neighbors while developing valuable vocational skills. These events are about much more than just finding a bargain; they provide a structured yet social environment where members can practice organization, teamwork, and customer service in a real-world setting.
We also offer some of these arts and crafts as purchases that go toward supporting our mission.
Building Skills

Every activity we host is an opportunity for personal development. By focusing on skill-building we help our participants gain a sense of mastery over their environment.

Volunteering
Volunteering is our way to give back to the community. By participating in volunteering opportunities, our members learn critical skills such as socializing, teambuilding and communication while contributing to making the community a better place
Grocery Shopping & Deliveries
for Seniors & Community Members
Our program offers a constantly evolving variety of physical and community activities to keep active, healthy and engaged.
Bowling
More than simple recreation, bowling is gives our clients an opportunity to practice sportsmanship, teamwork, coordination and work towards self-improvement in safe, fun, well-regulated environment.
Karate
Karate provides an opportunity to exercise as well as practice discipline. We are joined by an instructor who takes the time to work with our clients in a fun, safe and approachable way.
Auto Maintenance
Our Automotive Maintenance Program empowers members with the practical, hands-on skills needed for everyday independence, from monitoring fluid levels to understanding basic vehicle care.
Swimming
When it’s time to head to the pool, our swimming program offers a refreshing blend of physical fitness and pure recreational joy. These outings, supervised by local university/college students, provide a low-impact way for our participants to stay active, improve coordination, and build physical confidence in a safe environment.
Indoor/Outdoor Garage Sale

Members develop essential maintenance skills that instill a deep sense of pride and responsibility for their surroundings. By mastering the fundamentals of building upkeep and safety, our participants gain the practical experience and confidence needed to care for a professional environment.
Community Cleanup
True community belongs to those who care for it. Our members take great pride in our Park Cleanup Initiative, where they serve as the frontline stewards of our local green spaces. By maintaining the beauty and safety of our parks, they aren't just 'visiting' the community—they are protecting it. It’s a powerful reminder that everyone has the capacity to leave the world better than they found it.
